In a statement, Wallen’s lawyer Worrick Robinson confirmed the arrest: “At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.” He is completely working with the police.

Local news station WKRN in Nashville says Wallen was put into Metro Jail early Monday morning and let out a few hours later. Documents obtained by the news source gave more information. They said that two officers were standing in front of Eric Church’s (another country star) bar, Chief’s, when a chair fell from the six-story building and hit the ground about three feet away from them. Later, staff told the officers that Wallen threw the chair, and the officers are said to have seen security video from the bar that confirmed what the staff said.
There were three counts of reckless endangerment against Wallen, including one count of endangering police and one count of endangering the public.
